ECSO Report Classification
ECSO Bigfoot sighting reports will be posted in the blog and will be identified with a number, location, and category. Report categories make it easier to identify the type of encounter reported and presents a quick overview of the situation.

Type 1 – Visual Bigfoot Sighting
Full or partial view of the subject.
Type 2 – Signs of Bigfoot Activity
The subject is not visible, however there are clear vocalizations, smells, noises, footprints, trees shaking, and rocks thrown.
Type 3 – Aggressive Encounters
The subject is aggressive towards the witness: growls, teeth chattering, charging, chasing the witness, physical attacks, rock throwing resulting in possible harm or injury. Abductions, women being stalked or sexually harassed by a Bigfoot are also type 3 incidents.
Type 4 – Peaceful Encounters, Others
This includes peaceful encounters, habituation (same beings visiting the same people or property), feeding the Sasquatch, gift exchanges, communication, protective behaviour, caring for the young or injured. Any friendly relationship or familiar rapport with a Bigfoot is a type 4 situation.
